Gargantua Film Distribution, founded by Il Varco in 2019, is a Rome-based agency specializing in promoting auteur short films that challenge traditional narratives. They focus on hybrid films bridging fiction and non-fiction, and aim to leave a lasting impact in the cinematic world. With a boutique selection, Gargantua partners closely with directors to support their transition to feature films, achieving recognition in major festivals like Cannes and Berlinale.
As a key partner, Gargantua Film Distribution offers the Distribution Award. This award provides a distribution contract to one of the participating projects, ensuring it reaches a global audience. LAGO FILM FEST
Lago Film Fest, established in 2005 in the picturesque setting of Revine Lago, is an independent festival dedicated to experimental cinema.
